Stock Base Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus (SR+) RWD finishes 9th of 22 in Stock class at the final round of OK SCCA Autocross at Remington Park Casino.
@SpecTesla founder and driver Drew Cleaver brought 2 years of Model 3 Performance AWD Gridlife time attack experience to push the showroom stock $37,000, 275 horsepower Tesla sedan to a satisfying 19th place finish out of 84 total entries for fastest time of the day in his first autocross in over a decade.
To comply with Super Street class rules, the only modification performed outside of showroom stock spec was the addition of 245/20" Bridgestone Tires RE71r on factory 8.5" x 20" Tesla M3P wheels.
There is room for Unplugged Performance autocross kit with adjustable dampers and a rear sway bar to compete within class in the future at maximum potential for a real world comparison at the extent of the rulebook despite having tires and horsepower a fraction of the class's supercar competition.
Thank you to Dartanyan Ingram for the support and co-driving help over the weekend who also ran an impressive 24th of 84 FTD time in his 6th and final attempt in his first time driving any Tesla and many years away from autocross. Way to go Dartanyan!
